Frameworks and Transpilers and Template Languages add uncessarry code. What may have needed a 3rd party library in 2015 is now native in all Javascript compilers.
These native upgrades gives us the freedom to shed the technial debt of all those dependancies, and get much faster build and load times.
Simplicity is a Goal and a Feature
Templating languages are like learning a new, slower language on top of Javascript
IN our view, JS Templlate literals replaces all template languages after 2015. Offering a 100x build speed increase over JS Templating languages like Handlebars, Pug and the like. The raw html strings are then checked for malicious user input at the end using domPurify.
Files are just looped over and composed using your components and data.
We mean component in the functional view sense. Data goes in and the function trasforms it and returns a string. The whole system is meant to be understood in a single sitting.
It's just a folder full of scripts that do specific things to your project
In thinking about how I can make everything as simple as possible, I settled on the good old scripts folder. We've got scripts to handle your assets and generating code. It's all just more template functions and loops. Also there's shell scripts.
